This is a perfect example of the positive effects funding the Waiting List can have. Not only will people be able to receive the help they need, but they will be able to contribute to society to the best of their ability. And they do have the ability. It is easy to see these people as disabled. What takes effort is looking deeper and realizing that they are much more than the things they cannot do. A disability complex, just like the person who lives with it.
We should not judge these future recipients of funds solely on what they need. Rather we should focus on their accomplishments in the past, what they are doing now, and what they can do in the future. It is not our position nor the position of those in power to deny them from reaching their potential.
Let's keep this campaign in the positive light. By doing this, those who are uneducated about the subject will understand that this is about ability, not disability.
